Roadside Attractions has picked up US rights from ICM Partners and Foresight Unlimited to Todd Robinson’s The Last Full Measure starring Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt, Jeremy Irvine, Ed Harris and Diane Lane.
Stan plays a military investigator who helps Vietnam veterans build a case for the posthumous award of the Congressional Medal of Honor to William Pitsenbarger (Irvine), a heroic Air Force medic who saved more than 60 lives during battle. Peter Fonda, Amy Madigan, and Bradley Whitford round out the key cast.
Roadside Attractions plans a wide theatrical release in early 2019. Mark Damon’s Foresight Unlimited handles international sales and produced with Rainmaker Films, Lightbox Pictures, Provocator, SSS Entertainment, and BCL Finance Group.
Timothy Scott Bogart, Damon, Nicholas Cafritz, Robert Reed Peterson Shaun Sanghani, Michael Bassick, Adi Cohen, and Lauren Selig produced, and executive producers include Clay Pecorin, Russell Geyser, Cesare Fazari, Jessica Martins, Wilson da Silva, Habib H. Paracha, Tamara Birkemoe, Jenna Sanz-Agero, and Sidney Sherman.
“Todd Robinson’s riveting drama chronicles one man’s sacrifice and valor on the battlefield, and we believe it also highlights an aspect of American patriotism overdue for recognition,” said Roadside’s Howard Cohen and Eric d’Arbeloff. “Everyone should know about William Pitsenbarger’s bravery and life, and it’s a privilege to bring this film to theaters where it should be seen.”
Damon added, “The Last Full Measure has an emotional impact on people that I’ve rarely seen before. I’m so proud that Roadside Attractions feels the same, and has committed to giving this film the wide release that it deserves.”
