One day after it emerged the executive was leaving Cinedigm, he is returning to the Millennium fold to assume the newly created role of svp of marketing.
Scordino’s arrival is effective December 15 and will allow Bill Lee’s ambitious venture to house a single team providing customised distribution strategies across multiple platforms.
The new arrival will report to Millennium Entertainment evp of marketing Brooke Ford and will lead traditional platform and day-and-date campaigns while overseeing home entertainment and digital release strategy.
Scordino most recently served as svp of theatrical acquisitions and releasing at Cinedigm, which he joined in July 2012 from Millennium, where he had been head of acquisitions.
“We are happy to welcome Vincent back to the Millennium Entertainment family,” said Ford. “His vast experience in positioning independent film releases, as well as his close familiarity with our company’s strategies, will be huge assets to us as we build our marketing efforts to support our expanding distribution pipeline and platforms.”
