Voltage Pictures has appointed Darcy Donelan to vice president, development and production with immediate effect.
Donelan, who returns to the production, financing and sales company after stints in the CAA book department in New York and HBO’s marketing team, becomes a senior member of Voltage’s production team.
She will report to president and COO Jonathan Deckter and Voltage founder and CEO Nicolas Chartier.
Voltage recently handled sales on Roger Kumble’s (Cruel Intentions, After We Collided) YA adaption Beautiful Disaster and is selling the fourth instalment of the hit After franchise, After Ever Happy, which is scheduled for a September 7 North American release.
“Nic and I are thrilled to welcome Darcy, who started her career with us, home for good,” said Deckter. “She’s got great taste, endless energy and she’s one of the smartest people we’ve ever met.”
“I’m thrilled to be rejoining the brilliant team at Voltage and looking forward to finding exciting new stories to tell,” added Donelan.
Voltage recently added attorney Haley Cohen to its business and legal affairs team. Cohen’s assisted with copyright/trademark litigation at Johnson & Johnson, drafted rights acquisition and above-the-line agreements for films at Rosen Law Group and also worked for Universal Pictures, and Bruns, Brennan & Berry PC.
