Vue to become first UK exhibitor to offer high definition streaming of video content

Vue Cinemas have announced that they are to offer high definition streaming of the latest trailers, clips, star interviews and red carpet premieres, becoming the first UK exhibitor to do so.

The new multi-platform VueXtreme player has been built and developed by MyMovies and is designed to offer its users an enhanced online video experience, aiming to showcase the benefits of upgrading to VueXtreme screenings by showcasing the superior audio and visual technology that VueXtreme provides.

Clare Mellor, digital manager at Vue Entertainment commented: “We are thrilled to be building on our VueXtreme brand and offering film fans the chance to experience the immersive qualities of VueXtreme.”

VueXtreme screens are available at Vues in Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City, Bolton, Finchley Road, Plymouth, Bristol Cribbs Causeway, Bury The Rock and Islington.
