Warner Bros has moved up the US theatrical and HBO Max release of Legendary’s Godzilla Vs. Kong from May 21 to March 26 this year.
Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, and Rebecca Hall lead the cast in the tentpole about a mission to learn about the origins of the Titans as a conspiracy threatens to wipe them all out.
Adam Wingard directed the tentpole from a screenplay by Terry Rossio. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, Brian Rogers are producers.
The cast includes Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Lance Reddick, with Kyle Chandler and Demián Bichir
Earlier in the week Warner Bros moved The Many Saints Of Newark, New Line’s The Sopranos prequel film, from March 12 to September 24.
This year the entire Warner Bros theatrical slate will open day-and-date in available US cinemas and for an exclusive one-month window on corporate sibling HBO Max under a controversial strategy announced by WarnerMedia late last year.
