British horror thriller [pictured] sells to the UK, Scandinavia and Greece.
French genre specialist WTF has secured a slew of sales on British horror thriller Xmoor about two American students who go panther tracking in a remote corner of Britain.
The picture, written and directed by Luke Hyams, has sold to the UK (Signature Pictures), Scandinavia (Njuta Films), Greece (Odeon) and is in negotiation for the US.
The film follows two American students, played by Melia Kreiling and Nick Blood, who travel to Britain’s remote Exmoor National Park in search of it legendary panthers.
Animal tracker Fox joins them in their quest. Along the way, the trio stumbles across a series of dead bodies. It slowly dawns on them that are no longer the hunters but the hunted.
The picture is produced by Robert Jones, Wayne Marc Godfrey and David Gilbery whose other credits include Dead Snow 2 and Vehicle 19.
Other titles on WTF’s AFM slate include Hyena Road, Gates of the Sun and Hidden in the Woods.
The company will also show first footage of Pedro Morelli’s Zoom starring Gael Garcia Bernal as an action movie director desperate for critical acclaim.
