The 2018 Zurich Film Festival (September 27–October 7) has announced a raft of new Gala Premieres.
They include the European premieres of David Lowery’s The Old Man And The Gun, starring Robert Redford in reportedly his final role, Dan Fogelman’s Life Itself and Thomas Vinterberg’s Kursk.
The full list of Gala Premieres announced today are:
- A Star Is Born dir. Bradley Cooper
- Beautiful Boy dir. Felix Van Groeningen
- Capharnaüm dir. Nadine Labaki
- First Man dir. Damien Chazelle (Swiss premiere)
- Kursk dir. Thomas Vinterberg (European premiere)
- Life Itself dir. Dan Fogelman (European premiere)
- ROMA dir. Alfonso Cuarón
- The Favourite dir. Yorgos Lanthimos
- The Old Man And The Gun dir. David Lowery (European premiere)
- The Sisters Brothers dir. Jacques Audiard
The European Premiere of Peter Farrelly’s Green Book, which stars Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, has already been announced as the festival’s opening night film.
