Nordisk Film Distribution (NFD) has appointed Lone Korslund as head of co-productions, and Rasmus Krogh as its new local film buyer.
Working with NFD management, Korslund will spearhead a drive to involve the company in more local films.
Kenneth Wiberg, head of NFD, said: “We have, in co-operation with our local distribution teams, created a strong Nordic launch platform for movies like the Stieg Larsson Millennium trilogy, Snabba Cash and Max Manus. With the appointment of Lone, Nordisk Film has taken another serious step towards becoming the largest distributor of local film in the Nordic countries.”
Both Korslund and Krogh have already taken up their new roles.
