Crawley most recently served as svp of international marketing for Walt Disney Studios and commences work immediately.
He reports to chief marketing office Josh Greenstein, who praised Crawley’s “incredible passion, talent, and experience” and “depth of knowledge of the international marketplace.”
Crawley will be based in Paramount’s centralised global theatrical management hub in Los Angeles and will work closely with recently appointed president of Paramount International Pictures Anthony Marcoly.
Marketing and sales functions that are being performed locally in territories will remained unchanged.
The studio’s upcoming slate includes fresh release Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, The Adventures Of Tintin which is set to open in North America this week (21) and The Devil Inside which opens on Jan 6, 2012.
