As soon as Gnomes And Trolls is delivered in early 2008, Swedish production outfit White Shark will immediately embark on a sequel which NonStop will also handle.
Gnomes And Trolls is about a teenage gnome whose ambition is to invent gadgets in his tree-house laboratory. His dad, who is the head gnome of the forest, disapproves of his son's aspirations.
Alongside its Gnome fare, NonStop has also recently expanded its catalogue of vintage Scandinavian films. Through a deal with Swedish Folkets Hus och Parker, it has taken international rights to three early Ingmar Bergman films - A Ship Bound For India, So Close To Life and It Rains On Our Life. Through the same deal, it has also acquired One Summer Of Happiness, the controversial 1952 Swedish feature that gained instant notoriety for its 'nude' scenes.
