Sweden's NonStop Entertainment has signed a deal with Europe Images International SA to handle Jacques Cousteau's extensive catalogue of more than 100 titles for TV and video in Scandinavia and Iceland.
The deal includes films like Silent World, Odyssey, Mississippi, Amazon and The Undersea World.
The Cousteau film collection includes more than 115 hours of wildlife, travel and underwater adventures from the 60's to the late 90's.
Cousteau (1910-1997) was a leading spokesman for the protection of the underwater world and the global environment and he never ceased to travel the world making film of his adventures.
Cousteau and his team also published 40 books, 2 encyclopaedias and 16 cartoon books. The memory and heritage of ocean lover Jacques Cousteau are still kept alive through the Cousteau Society.
