NonStop Sales is to handle worldwide sales on around 500 films from Scandinavian powerhouse Sandrew Metronome.

Under the terms of the exclusive deal, signed on the eve of the AFM, NonStop will sell (outside Scandinavia) many of the best-loved and best-known titles in Scandinavian cinema history.

Among them are Ingmar Bergman's Dreams and The Naked Night, Alf Sjöberg's 1951 Cannes winnerMiss Julie, Vilgot Sjöman's groundbreaking I am Curious Yellow, I am Curious Blue - huge box-office hits in the US - and My Sister my Love, Henning Carlsens Cannes winner (Best male actor/Per Oscarsson) Hunger (based on book of Noble Prize winner Knut Hamsun), Peter Watkin's Gladiators, Mai Zetterling's Girls, Loving Couples and Night Games, Arne Sucksdorff's nature dramas The Flute & The Arrow and The Great Adventure, Erwin Leisner's Mein Kampf, Roy Andersson's Giliap, Dogme founder Soren Kragh Jacobsen's Emma's Shadow, The Boys From St Petri, Thunderbirds, Bille August's In My Life and many more.

Sandrew Metronome continues to restore and upgrade these films to digital standards so that they will meet today's requirements for DVD and TV.
