Scandinavian-basedsales agent NonStop Sales has picked up international sales to Sonet Film'sEnglish- language thriller Rancid and Norwegian Sundance competitor MonsterThursday.

Starring Matthew Settle and Faye Masterson andco-starring Pernilla August, Rancid takes place during one hectic nightin New York. The film is written and directed by Los Angeles-based Swede JackErsgard and produced by Peter Possne of leading Swedish distributor andproduction house Sonet Film, co-producer of the Academy Award nominated AsIt Is In Heaven.

Laid-backromantic drama Monster Thursday is a Nordic surf movie about two friendswaiting for the perfect wave. It is Arild Ostin Ommundsen's second feature filmafter his debut with the low budget box office hit Mongoland in 2001.

Both films have their international market premieres at theBerlin Film Market 2005
