Even though a slew of new films were released a week ago, Mel Gibson's Passion easily stayed on top of the Norwegian box-office chart in its third week.
Meanwhile Erich Hortnagl's local psychological thriller A Cry In The Woods (Den Som Frykter Ulven), based on a best-selling Karin Fossum novel, on second, failed to improve its screen average having increased its number of prints by three. It has attracted 33,493 admissions so far.
As expected over the prolonged Easter weekend, it was family fare which got the most of what was left behind by the Passion. Thus Hidalgo jumped to third and Peter Pan, which had a disappointing opening last week, moved from seventh to fifth.
