Several distributors have come on board early for the Australian project Not Quite Hollywood, about Australian genre cinema in the 1970s and 1980s. Deals have been struck for Australia and New Zealand (Madman Entertainment), North America (Magnolia Pictures), and the UK (Optimum Releasing).

Director Mark Hartley is in production now on the film, which will be released in Australia in 2008 with the UK and US to follow.

Interviewees in Not Quite Hollywood include Mel Gibson, Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis and Peter Cook.

Laird Adamson at HD Net is handling international sales.

Not Quite Hollywood is currently in production and is directed by award-winning music video director and filmmaker Mark Hartley. It will be released in Australia in 2008 with the UK and US to follow. International sales will be managed by Laird Adamson for HD Net.
