November Films has taken all UK rights to Finnish documentary The Punk Syndrome.

The film follows the personal story of a Finnish punk band who are mentally handicapped.

James Collie from November Films said: “I found the film utterly captivating. The band’s dynamic on screen is mesmerising and leaves viewers deeply moved. We can’t wait to bring this powerful and tender film to audiences in the UK.”

The company has previously handled UK releases such as Beyond Biba in 2009 and Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo in 2011.
