Freestyle will release in North America and Odd Lot International will commence foreign sales at Cannes next month. The parties will collaborate on another, yet to be announced project.
Bottle Shock, which premiered at Sundance this year, tells the story of the Paris Tastings of 1976, in which California wines impressed judges in a series of blind tastings and usurped French domination of the wine market.
Randall Miller directed from a screenplay he wrote with Jody Savin and Ross Schwartz. Bill Pullman, Alan Rickman, Rachael Taylor, Chris Pine, Freddy Rodriguez and Dennis Farina star.
Miller produced with Jody Savin, Brenda Lhormer, Marc Lhormer, J Todd Harris and Marc Toberhoff.
