Thirteen screenwriters from all over Europe, including the UK, Poland, Hungary, Macedonia and Italy have been selected to present their screenplays to a panel of international producers at the first Central European Pitch Forum to be held during the Pecs International Film Festival on October 3.
The Pitch Forum's organisershad 60 applications from 19 countries; the final selection was based on variety of nationality, genre, theme and subject matter.
The list of selected projects and participants are:

Fluxus 69 (drama) by Emil Novak, Hungary
Loop (action/thriller/mystery) by Istvan Madarasz, Hungary
Love Fixation (romantic dramedy) by Jakub Dulban, Poland
Plateau (drama) by Jaroslaw Marszewski and Anthony Marais, Poland-Germany
Red Diploma (drama) by Maria Lappalainen, Finland
Sleepwalkers (drama/thriller) by Balazs Lengyel, Hungary
The God Of The Hills (drama) by Paolo Poti, Italy
The Hit Man And Her (caper comedy) by Kulvinder Gill, UK
The Majority (fantasy-thriller) by Angel Mirou, Spain
The Pit (drama) by Eva Keuris, Netherlands
Weekend (drama/thriller) by Peter Gal and Csaba Toth, Hungary
Witness (drama/thriller) by Mitko Panov and Tomasz Pasikowski, Macedonia-Switzerland-Poland
Cash prizes of $14,000(Euros 10,000) in total will be awarded by a 15-strong panel of European producers including Germany's Alexander Ris (Mediopolis), UK's Keith Potter (Dan Films), Russia's Andrey Deryabin (Hermitage Bridge Studio), Hungary's Laszlo Kantor (Uj Budapest Filmstudio) and Austria's Gabriele Kranzelbinder (KGP).
