Toronto-based Peace Arch Entertainment has acquired worldwide distribution rights to family film A Lobster Tale starring Colm Meaney as a struggling lobster fisherman in Maine whose life is turned upside down when he discovers a strange moss with magical healing powers.
Peace Arch Home Entertainment will release the film on DVD in North America in the summer and is launching international marketing and sales at MIP-TV in April.
Adam Massey directed the film which also stars Graham Greene and Alberta Watson. The film was produced by Lincoln Stalmaster and Adam Massey with Nicholas Taborrok and Neil Shaw acting as executive producers.
