Per Holst, Danish veteran producer and creative director of Scandinavian major Nordisk Film, has been appointed chairman of the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark.
"We have to give our young film-making talent more and better opportunities if we are sustain the positive flow we're experiencing now," said Holst.
Holst, who replaces Henning Carlsen, added that he aims to increase the students' understanding of the business behind film-making. About 750 students from 36 countries have attended the college in its seven years of existence.
