Co-chairmen Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will receive the Producers Guild Of America’s (PGA) 2013 David O Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures.
The honour recognises the “outstanding body of work” of a producer or producing team. Bevan and Fellner will collect the honour at the 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony on Jan 26 in Los Angeles.
Their credits include Notting Hill, Love Actually, the Bridget Jones films, Four Weddings And A Funeral, Frost/Nixon, Senna and current awards season contenders Les Miserables and Anna Karenina, among others.
“Tim and Eric’s profound body of work includes many of the most beloved and critically-acclaimed films,” said 2013 PGA Awards chair Michael DeLuca. “Both as individuals, and as a bona fide producing team, they have made contributions to the art and craft of storytelling, which are the envy of filmmakers the world over.”
“We are delighted and honoured to be receiving the David O Selznick Award,” said Bevan and Fellner. “When you look at the past recipients, it is very humbling to be in their company and we are very grateful for the recognition.
Prior recipients include Stanley Kramer, Saul Zaentz, Billy Wilder, Brian Grazer, Jerry Bruckheimer, Laura Ziskin, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, John Lasseter, Scott Rudin and Steven Spielberg.
