Los Angeles andLouisiana-based production company Plinyminor has signed a deal with salesagency Voltage Pictures to handle foreign sales on six new titles.
All pictures will get a US theatrical release through Omni Releasing and arelikely to air on the SCI-FI Channel. Plinyminor is in talks for a long-termhome entertainment deal.
The titles include a sequel to the action horror title Mammoth, as well as five self-styled creature featurepopcorn movies integrating mythological and historical figures such as KingArthur, Odysseus and Sherlock Holmes into a low-budget formula.
Plinyminor will shoot all six projects back-to-back in Eastern Europe withprincipal photography for the first one, King Arthur And The Order Of TheDragon, set to kick off in September.Casting is currently underway.
Plinyminor and Voltage previously worked together on Mammoth, which starred Tom Skerritt, Summer Glau and VincentVentresca.
Voltage has concluded pre-sales on the slate to AMG in Japan, Polar Star inLatin America, and Belga in Benelux, AMG.
