Post Mortem, a drama directed by Louis Belanger and produced by Lorraine Dufour of La Coop Video de Montreal, walked away with five prizes at Quebec's second annual Prix Jutra.
Fresh from victory for best first film, best original screenplay and best actress at Canada's 1999 Genie Awards, Post Mortem, distributed by Film Tonic, took home awards for best film and best director at the Jutra gala on Sunday night.
Lea Pool's coming-of-age story, Emporte-Moi, produced by Lorraine Richard and Cite-Amerique took home four Prix Jutra, while Souvenirs Intimes, Histoires D'Hiver, Le Dernier Souffle and Alegria received one each.
