Richard Eyre's The Other Man has been acquired for France by Pretty Pictures.
The deal was concluded between James Velaise of French distribution company Pretty Pictures and Natalie Brenner of Ealing Studios.
The Other Man has created good festival buzz, having premiered at Toronto and opened the San Sebastian Film Festival. It will have its UK premiere as a gala screening at the London Film Festival tomorrow (October 17).

Richard Eyre teamed up again with Iris co-writer Charles Wood for the script of the film which was adapted from a story by Bernhard Schlink (The Reader).
The Other Man is produced by Richard Eyre, Emmy Award winners Frank Doelger (John Adams), and Tracey Scoffield (The Gathering Storm), Mary Beth O'Connor, David Richenthal with Michael Dreyer. It stars Liam Neeson, Antonio Banderas, Laura Linney, and Romola Garai.
