Pretty Pictures has acquired all French-speaking rights to Neil Thompson's Clubbed from AV Pictures.
AV has also sold the film for include Australasia (21st Century Pictures), Benelux (European Film Partners), Middle East (Falcon Films), Poland (Vision) and Turkey (Horizon International).
The story, set in 1980s clubland, stars Colin Salmon, Mel Raido an Shaun Parkes.
The UK release is planned for January 2009, with sportwear company Lonsdale promoting the release.
James Velaise, president of Pretty Pictures, said: 'Clubbed is one of the best UK indie films I have seen in a very long time. The actors, the director and the story telling are absolutely top notch. The music and the sets take us blissfully back to the early 80's club scene.'

Martin Carr produced for Formosa Films. Geoff Thompson adapted the screenplay from his autobiography Watch My Back.
The original score is composed by Paul Heard of M-People.
AV's current sales slate also includes Lesbian Vampire Killers and The Tournament.
