Riding high on the success of the first season of American Horror Story, the actress has become the latest star to sign up to the French potboiler.

Therese is based on Emile Zola’s celebrated nineteenth century novel Therese Raquin, about a young woman who embarks on an affair with her husband’s best friend.

Elizabeth Olsen plays the lead and Glenn Close will play her mother. Tom Felton is the cuckold and Oscar Isaacs plays the love interest.

Charlie Stratton adapted the screenplay and will direct. Mickey Liddell produces and his LD Distribution will release. Exclusive Media handles international sales.
