Production is continuing on Legends of Valhalla – Thor, which is being made as an animated 3D movie.

Iceland’s CG Studio CAOZ has been working on the project since late 2004; recently Stereoscopic experts Eric Deren and Graham D. Clark came on board.

CAOZ said the film should be finished for an autumn 2011 launch.

Production partners are Ulysses Film of Germany and Magma Productions of Ireland.

The project is based on an 800-year-old manuscript outlining Nordic mythology.

The film’s budget is Euros 8.3m. It has sold to more than 30 countries internationally.
