The partners have signed a first-look deal to develop film and television versions of the works of iconic sci-fi author Philip K Dick [pictured].
Anonymous and Electric Shepherd Productions are collaborating on UBIK with Michel Gondry.
Electric Shepherd Productions is separately developing other projects based on Dick novels and short stories including The Man In The High Castle, Now Wait For Last Year, King Of The Elves and Electric Ant.
“Philip K Dick’s works offer a wealth of ideas for writers and directors and we look forward to mining these imaginative works for feature and series ideas,” said Steve Golin of Anonymous Content. “It is an incredible resource to bring to our clients and other filmmaker relationships.”
“Our father’s library and legacy are deeply important to us and we will strive to bring the highest level of integrity to each project we produce under this new arrangement with Anonymous Content,” said Isa Dick Hackett.
Paul Green at Anonymous negotiated the deal with Christopher Tricarico on behalf of ESP and the Dick estate.
