Jarecki hopes to shoot Fuel early next year.

Arbitrage writer-director Nicholas Jarecki is currently writing his next feature, called Fuel.

Jarecki told a Zurich Film Festival press conference for Arbitrage that he hopes to make the LA-set detective story, which focuses on corruption in the electric vehicle industry, early next year.

“Sometimes the characters don’t want to talk to you, but little by little they are starting to speak”, he said.

Jarecki was in Zurich with Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon for the screening of Sundance hit thriller Arbitrage.
