Michael Beihn to star in all three films.
UK-based Aspect Film has signed a three-picture deal with Blanc/Biehn Productions for its new genre label Chiller Films.
Michael Beihn, who has directed The Victim and starred in Grindhouse and The Terminator among others, runs the production outfit with Jennifer Blanc-Biehn.
The films in development are The Farm, Up and Down and The Predicator, which will all star Biehn. All three will be shot in sequence in a 45-day period by three different directors to be named soon.
Michael Biehn said “We are thrilled to be working with Hugh Edwards and the Aspect Film team and of course, so happy to have Blanc/Biehn Productions continuing to bring you edgy cinema”.
Aspect Film and Chiller Films’ CEO Hugh Edwards added, “It’s a joy to be collaborating with Michael and Jennifer and their Blanc/Biehn Productions shingle. We’re looking forward to a long-lasting partnership with them. They have lined up some fantastic writing, directorial and acting talent. The three films are action-packed and very humorous; true to the essence of the best in recent grindhouse movies, from the likes of Quentin Tarentino and Rodriguez”.
