President Matt Kaplan illustrates scope of ambition in deal with Insurgent screenwriter Brian Duffield and Nicki Cortese’s new production company.

The Jurassic Party pact will skew towards young adult content and leaves no doubt as to the calibre of partners that Kaplan (pictured) and his team are eager to set up at Awesomeness.

Duffield also wrote Jane Got A Gun and wrote and currently serves as executive producer on horror film The Babysitter from director McG starring Bella Thorne.

Cortese most recently spent two years at Red Wagon. 

The partnership was brought in by Awesomeness Films executive Max Siemers and comes on the heels of the studio’s recent casting announcement on Before I Fall, which Good Universe introduced to AFM buyers recently.
