3:1 Cinema and Fischer Productions have started production on psychological thriller Backgammon.

Based on cult novella Bloody Baudelaire by R B Russell, the film is directed by award-winning short film director Francisco Orvañanos and produced by Orvañanos and Chris B Moore. Orvañanos, Todd Niemi and Russell wrote the script.

Telling the story of a college student and his girlfriend spending a weekend at his family’s gothic mansion, the film stars Noah Silver, Brittany Allen, Alex Beh, Olivia Crocicchia and Christian Alexander.
