Dominic Burns’ thriller stars Gemma Atkinson in the story of an evil force on an airliner.

UK production company Black and Blue Films has joined Dominic Burns’ thriller Airborne as a co-producer.

Simon Phillips’ Press On Features is leading the production. The companies previously worked together on Burns’ How To Stop Being A Loser starring Richard E. Grant.

Airborne stars Gemma Atkinson, Julian Glover and Alan Ford in the story about travellers who encounter evil on a jumbo jet.

Black and Blue Films’ Jonathan Sothcott said: “I was tickled by the idea of making what is basically a feature length version of the Terror At 20,000 Feet segment of Twilight Zone The Movie so it was only natural that we’d partner with them on this.”

The project is shooting on location in Surrey through March.
