Christian Slater has signed on alongside Cuba Gooding Jr to play a cameo in the crime thriller Sacrifice.

Voltage Pictures is handling international sales on the story of an undercover police officer who infiltrates a heroin ring to save a young kidnap victim who was entrusted into his care.

Slater will play an unconventional priest with a military history in Afghanistan. Devon Bostick and Kim Coates have also joined the cast and principal photography began on April 5 in Ottawa. 

Damian Lee wrote the screenplay and is directing. Michael Baker and Robert Menzies are producing and executive producer on the project is Jeff Sackman who is also representing North American rights.
