Constantin Film has optioned film rights to Where Rainbows End, the second novel by Irish besteller Cecelia Ahern.
Where Rainbows End -- known in the US as Rosie Dunne — follows childhood best friends Rosie and Alex as they grow up watching each other muddle through tempestuous relationships unaware of what fate has in store for them.
White Noise executive producer Simon Brooks brought the project to Constantin and will produce through his Canyon Creek Films label alongside Constantin’s Robert Kulzer.
Kulzer most recently produced Resident Evil: Afterlife and is currently in production on 3D project The Three Musketeers, a big seller for Summit International at the recent AFM.
Constantin Film board member and head of film and TV Martin Moszkowicz will serve as executive producer.
Ahern’s bestseller P.S. I Love You was turned into a feature with Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank and grossed more than $150m worldwide through Warner Bros.
