The British author will write the screenplay based on the chapter of the same name from Ron Rosenbaum’s bestseller Explaining Hitler.
The story takes place in 1920s Munich and chronicles the rise of the Nazi Party through the eyes of the journalists at The Munich Post, who tried to expose the Nazis as organised criminals.
The journalists irritated Hitler so greatly that he dubbed them The Poison Kitchen.
As previously announced Robert Schwentke will direct. Constantin Film’s co-president Robert Kulzer and vice-president of development and production Margo Klewans will produce. Head of film and TV Martin Moszkowicz is executive producer.
