The British actor faces his darkest role yet in the supernatural thriller. Red Granite is financing and will co-produce with Mandalay Pictures and Alexandre Aja will direct.

Red Grantite International will handle sales on Horns, the story of a man who uses mysterious protuberances on his head to discover the truth after he is accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend.

Production is scheduled for autumn. Keith Bunin adapted the novel by Joe Hill.

Red Grantite’s Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland will produce with Mandalay Pictures president Cathy Schulman and Adam Stone. Hill and Red Granite’s Joe Gatta are the executive producers. Additional casting is underway.
