Arclight Films genre label Darclight will kick off sales at EFM on Joe Dante’s Monster Love, a teen comedy horror love story currently in pre-production.

The celebrated director of such horror hits as TheHowling and Gremlins returns with the story of a werewolf and a vampire who fall in love and ignite an inter-species war.

Elizabeth Stanley and Frederic Brost are producing Monster Love.

Dante will direct from a screenplay by Greg Pak, who wrote Robot Stories and an array of comic book titles including The Incredible Hulk, X-Men: Magneto and Battlestar Galactica.
