eOne signs first look deal with Silver's Blue Ice Films

Entertainment One (eOne) has signed a multi-year first-look deal with Steven Silver’s new film and TV production company Blue Ice Films.

Silver, who is currently eOne’s  senior vice president of factual programming, will leave the company to head up the new production and financing outfit with partner Neil Tataznik. Silver will also pursue his career as a film and TV director. His film, The Bang Bang Club, will have its world premiere at TIFF this month.

The deal with eOne gives the company a first look at Blue Ice’s feature films as well as scripted and non-scripted television productions.
