The rising Mexican star will play the lead in MPI Media Group and Mexico City-based Salto de Fe Films’ supernatural thriller to be directed by Adrian Garcia Bogliano.

The supernatural tale centres on children who go missing on a family trip to caves in Tijuana. Barreiro starred in We Are What We Are, which IFC Films released recently.

Shooting will take place in Mexico City and surrounding areas.

  • Red And Tan Productions has begun principal photography in Los Angeles on the sci-fi thriller Life Tracker written and directed by Joe McClean. The company holds all sales rights.
