The San Francisco Film Society has announced that to Joshua Zeman will receive the 2013 Djerassi Residency Award / SFFS Screenwriting Fellowship for his film Collider.
Elizabeth Chatelain earned an honourable mention for her project Glass Desert.
The programme offers the recipient residency in the Santa Cruz Mountains on the West Coast from Aug 6 to Sept 4 to provide an environment without interruption.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be chosen for the Djerassi Residency Award / SFFS Screenwriting Fellowship,” Zeman said. “Being part of the San Francisco Film Society family is a wonderful honour considering the quality of projects they’ve supported.”
Zeman has been creating independent films for the past 10 years and has recently served as executive producer on Ceremony, a film directed by Max Winkler and starring Uma Thurman
