Luis Prieto has kicked off principal photography on Lotus Entertainment’s thriller starring Halle Berry.

Sage Correa, Lew Temple and Chris McGinn have joined the story of a mother who will stop at nothing to rescue her abducted son. Relativity Studios will distribute Kidnap in the US

Prieto directs from Knate Gwaltney’s screenplay and is scheduled to shoot in New Orleans until November 25.

Di Bonaventura Pictures’ Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam, Gold Star Films’ Joey Tufaro and Gregory Chou of Rumble Entertainment are producing.

Executive producers are Berry and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas through their 606 Films production company, Lotus Entertainment’s Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, D J Gugenheim and Ara Keshishian and Gold Star Films’ Colin Bates and Todd Trosclair, Gwaltney, and Doris Pfardrescher of Well Go USA.
