Old Days will mark the feature writing-directing debut of actor Michael Rosenbaum.
Kim and Jim Productions has offered details of its forthcoming slate, as the outfit’s action comedy Hit and Run hits cinemas this week.
Old Days will mark the feature writing-directing debut of actor Michael Rosenbaum (Hit and Run, Smallville). The high-school reunion comedy, now in post, stars Rosenbaum, Morena Baccarin, Harland Williams, Nick Swardson, and Isaiah Mustafa.
Now shooting in New York with Kim and Jim executive producing are The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Hers, both by Ned Benson and starring James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain.
In development is Dream Country, adapted from the novel by Luanne Rice. That will shoot from February. Rice is co-writing the screenplay with Jayce Bartok.
Opening later this year are horror films I Didn’t Come Here To Die and A Thousand Cuts.
Kim and Jim Productions is run by Coachella Valley producers, Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey. “We’ve been pulling back to back movie shifts over the past three years and we’re fortunate to have found a niche for our company where we have the opportunity to be a part of unique projects that have all the elements to make them successful”, said the Palm Springs-based duo.
