Lena Headey will play the title role in Seraphim Films’ Clive Barker’s Jacqueline Ess.
Jovanka Vuckovic makes her feature directorial debut on the story that originally appeared in Barker’s anthology novel The Books Of Blood and tells of a beautiful seductress with the ability to change people’s body shapes with her mind.
Toronto-based Raven Banner will handle sales and produce while Barker’s Seraphim Films serves as executive producer. Production is set for the end of the year.
Raven Banner partners Michael Paszt, James Fler and Andrew Hunt brokered the deal with Noor Ahmed of Reder & Feig on behalf of Seraphim.
Headey and Vuckovic will serve as co-producers on the film along with Raven Banner.
Vuckovic has directed short films and is producing the first ever all-female horror anthology XX with XYZ Films.
- Kali 8 Productions/Kali Films and D Street Pictures will produce GPS… I Love You. Production on the rom-com is set to commence in Los Angeles in early 2015.
