K5 International is handling sales.

Oscar nominee Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed up to play a young nurse in Eric Howell’s supernatural thriller Voice From The Stone, produced by Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini.

The project is based on the Italian novel Le Voce Della Pietra by Silvio Raffo, it was announced today by K5 International, which is selling.

Gyllenhaal plays the nurse to a young boy who is haunted by malevolent forces in an old Italian manor. She also develops a relationship with the father.

“We’re delighted and privileged to have Maggie sign up to Voice From the Stone,” said K5’s founding partners Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur.  “She is a wonderful, intelligent actress and perfect for this part” said Carl Clifton K5´s partner in sales and marketing.
