Marc Evans has been promoted to president of production at Paramount Pictures after joining the studio in 2003.
Evans previously served as executive vice-president of production and joined as vice-president. He continues to report to Paramount Film Group president Adam Goodman and is currently supervising the next Mission: Impossible instalment, as well as Transformers 3, The Last Airbender, Super 8, Rango and Morning Glory.
Prior to joining Paramount, Evans served as executive vice-president of Laura Ziskin Productions and was also vice-president of Industry Entertainment.
He spent five years before that as programme director at the Chicago International Film Festival.
