Shooting on Pernille Fischer Christensen’s [pictured] new film begins tomorrow [Jan 23].
Mikael Persbrandt and Trine Dyrholm, stars of In A Better World, are to renuite for Pernille Fischer Christensen’s Someone You Love.
Fischer Christensen’s new film focuses on a world famous singer-songwriter Thomas Jacob (Persbrandt) who, when he travels back to Denmark to record a new album with his regular producer Molly Moe (Dyrholm), meets his grown-up daughter Julie (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen) and his 11 year-old grandson Noa, whom Thomas has never met.
Shooting is set to begin tomorrow [Jan 23].
Someone You Love is written by Fischer Christensen and Kim Fupz Aakeson and produced by Sisse Graum Jørgensen and Vinca Wiedemann for Zentropa Entertainments 16. It is co-produced by Zentropa International Sweden, Film I Väst and FilmFyn.
