Shooting will take place in London and Kent until the end of June.
Shooting has started in London on Ralph Fiennes’ period drama The Invisible Woman.
Directed and starring Fiennes alongside Felicity Jones and Kristin Scott Thomas, the film tells the true story of the secret love affair between Charles Dickens and his mistress Nelly Ternan.
It has been adapted by Shame writer Abi Morgan from Claire Tomalin’s biography.
Shooting will take place in Kent and in and around London until the end of June on Fiennes’ second film as an actor/director following Coriolanus.
WestEnd Films is handling international sales and is co-financing with BBC Films and the BFI. Headline Pictures (Stewart MacKinnon and Christian Baute) and Magnolia Mae (Gabrielle Tana) are producing.
