Michigan-based production company ProductionLine Films has partnered with the director, producer and TV veteran.

“When Bill Lowery and I went to Hollywood and Scott McGinnis partnered up with us, Scott got on board as producer/partner with Bill and I and he then became co-writer of Q,” co-founder of ProductionLine Films Ray MacDonald said. “We then formed our production company.”

Their upcoming project Q is currently in development with actors C Thomas Howell, Judd Nelson and Tony Todd attached.

Gary J Tunnicliffe will head the special make-up effects team for the project and is best known for his work on Mission Impossible 2, X-Men among others.

The horror-thriller is expected to start principal photography in early 2013
