Producer Robert Lantos made the announcement on Friday (13). eOne will distribute in Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Benelux.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin on Aug 20 in Banff, Alberta, and Los Angeles.

Jeremiah Chechick will direct from Megan Martin’s adapted screenplay of the novel by Tim Sandlin. Sex And Sunsets centres on a struggling writer humiliated by his ex-wife’s tell-all blog who pursues the woman of his dreams.

Ari Lantos is also producing while Mark Musselman serves as executive producer and negotiated the deal with Serendipity Point Films and Ryan Heck and Darren Statt of CAA.
